KAPEX cut capacity question

I was trying to cut a 5x5 fence post to length with my KAPEX, but ended up doing the "flip" with it 3 times in order to complete the cut.  Anybody have a better method?  Do I just need a bigger miter saw?

The Kapex's capacity is 88mm (without using the special position), so yes, if you want to cut 5" square posts in one cut you will need a bigger saw.

I've cut 6x6's with a single flip so I don't know why you had to flip a 5x5 more than once.  The 6x6 is truly at the saws capacity and you have to trick the blade guard to get it to initiate the cut.  4x4's are no problem with a single cut.
