Kapex & Dewalt Miter Saw stand

About to purchase a Kapex and already have the DeWalt stand. Will the Kapex mount to the DeWalt stand?

yes,using the Dewalt brackets.  i used mine this way before i got my stand and UG extensions.  I also made left and right extensions and used DW brackets tomount them on either side of the Kapex.  Worked pretty well, but when storing the Kapex, still had the brackets on the saw which was a little awkward.

Or you can fix the brackets to a board and then attach the Kapex to the board as and when needed (the board can also double as a small worktop when the Kapex isn't out to play). I went that way so I could keep the Kapex free to sit on a bench and mount the wings to it - with brackets on you'd have to raise the wings somehow.

After seeing someone on here do similar, I cut a small (~70mm if I remember correctly)  section off each leg so the wings mounted on this setup - meaning no UG stand required.
