Using my new Kapex today and after making a few cuts the dust outlet shroud (the small plastic housing that has the angled dust nozzle outlet for attaching an extractor) dropped off. [eek]
It looks like the plastic housing slots in at the bottom, pushes in at the top and is secured by a screw that goes through a hole/slot in the saw. I think what must of happened is that in the factory the dust nozzle housing had been attached but the screw had not been screwed through its hole properly.
I've pushed it back on the saw and screwed it up and it seems ok.
Is this just a standard push in part secured with a screw or is it supposed to be sealed in with glue or a gasket or anything?
If you look at the nozzle that is attached to the saw where you would push on the CTL hose, it's the small housing that this nozzle sits in/is attached to and rotates.
Thanks.
