Is there a trick to removing the rubber feet on the kapex?
They just turn and turn and I can't get a grip of the rubber with anything without totally destroying it.
The reason, before you ask, is I need to put it on a dewalt stand since I can't afford the kapex frame and wings at the moment unless 600 of you send me a dollar [tongue], and the rubber feet just stop the bolts I have from being long enough.

If i remember correctly just put an allan key in the top and some grips on the bottom it does tend to damage the feet a little thou.
i cannot be 100% on this thou as my kapex is on site but i pretty sure thats what i did to put it on the dewalt stand

If in future you have the cash i would highly recommend the ug set its amazingly portable and takes up less room in the van when its stood up probably my favourite festool accessory to be honest.

I just tried myself to remove the feet as well for a similar reason and could not do it.  Gave up and found an alternate solution not requiring their removal.  They are on super tight.

I mounted my Kapex on a 1/2" ply panel which was then mounted to the DeWalt brackets. I didn't remove the feet, I wanted to be able to use the Kapex on site with Sys 1's as outriggers. I used wing nuts on the bolts for easy removal of just the saw. I notched the panel to get access to the bracket release.

I made the panel a little wider than the Kapex for additional work surface.

Wings with Kreg track and stops attached to the Kapex with the Multiblades adapter sit perfectly on the extension arms on the DeWalt stand.

I have mine mounted on the Dewalt stand and did not remove the feet.  I didn't see the need to and still don't.
