Kapex KSC 60 Folded Extension Arms

I'm considering getting the KSC 60, but when the saw is not on the move, I would want to set up a station in the shop with the saw and extension arms (for the KSC60) folded up on a table top. You can do this with the Kapex 120. I know i would need to get the Adapter base for it to work at all, but will it work in the folded position, or just in the stand?

I have that combination, I’ve never tried what you are trying to, but I see no reason why it would not work.
