Kapex laser brightness question

I had my Kapex replaced a little while ago and was using the new one outside on an overcast day for the first time and noticed that I could barely see the laser lines on the work piece. They are plenty bright indoors, but not outdoors.

I don't remember this as an issue on the first Kapex I got, so I thought I'd ask people's experiences with their Kapex's lasers during outdoor use.

almost all laser do not work well in sunlight or even overcast days.  on the older kapex and the newer and all other laser tools including distance measures.

that is just the way it is with lasers.  so I recommend working outdoors only after dark and until sunup then no problem!  lol

set up in a garage helps.  but otherwise not much you can do.
