Kapex leaking oil when stored on stand?

When I am not using my Kpex I store it folded down on the stand. After a week or so, there will appear a few drops of oil on the floor underneath it. Cannot tell exactly where it is coming from. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this?

I had the same issue on mine - it dumped quite a bit of oil on the floor after storing it for a month or so.

Had it sent in to Festool as the saw then was only a couple of months old. They said it was perfectly fine and nothing had to be done.

I suspect they just packed a lot of grease into the motor and with time, some of it dissolves depending on the ambient temperature. I suspect there is enough grease in the motor that this doesn’t matter at all.

After I got it back, it has now been in storage for a couple of years (my saw doesn’t see much use ) and no oil has leaked out of it.
