Kapex motor problems?

Hey has anybody else had issues with kapex durability?  I've had my saw rebuilt for the third time now.  I love my saw and what it does but that seems like a problem.  Anybody else have this issue?

FWIW, my Kapex has performed just fine since I got it 5 years ago.

Is there a known approximate date or date range for the redesign?

2019 would be safe but it appears to have been updated as of late 2017...

Also, the EB with the new motor appears to have a different tool # than the old motor EBs.
