Kapex problem

I've got a Kapex that I've had for about 2-1/2 years. Today while running fascia boards on a new house the armature went out AGAIN. This will be the third time since I've bought the Kapex that I've had to send it in for a new armature. I put a new blade on it prior to running fascia boards. I use a # 10 50 ft extension cord on a dedicated 20 amp circuit. The fascia material is 2x6 western red cedar. I make sure to let the saw do the cutting, not forcing the blade into the cut. Any suggestions? Anyone else having a problem?

EDIT> topic title due to split

I'm really curious on this "failure" .. is it isolated to 110V machines? Certainly seems that way.

I have talked to the service department regarding your saw and will be calling you later this morning.

There is usually more than 50' of romex befire the plug, so I doubt that the extension cord would be an issue unless it was really small gauge.
The 20A (110v) does seem like it could be related, and the current being twice 23/240v also increases the extension cord loss.
So are they better on 230v?
