I bought a Kapex around 2021 and it's been great for my needs. Compact when I want it stored but able to do long boards with the wings. I don't have the space for a dedicated miter station.
Anyway I've never messed with the bevel function until yesterday. I cut baseboard vertically so I can cheat on getting a head start with coping. The base I'm using is taller than I usually get and I have to do it flat. I watched some videos and was skeptical but man so far it just works. I clamp it down before cutting and every 45 is accurate either direction.
The coping just takes a little longer.
Oh and I get a lot of aluminum shavings cutting into the Colliflower ZCI holder. That was a definite design overlook.
