Kapex rubber dust collection boot broke.

I have a new 120 reb and found the rubber boot on the floor, after a closer look the side handle where the boot attaches is broken. Looks like number 11 on the parts breakdown but seems festool doesn't want to sell it. Anyone have a source for the handle?

You should be able to order a replacement from a Festool dealer/vendor that sells Festool machines and tools. I bought a spare one from Lee Valley Tools.

But I'll also try to see if I can fix it first.

  It looks like number 11 is called the "Pistol Stock" . Is the shell / handle / housing broken? Or is the dust boot / "Apron" #197 broken?

    Can you take a picture of the broken part and post it here?

Yes the little plastic piece that holds the boot on broke off which is part of the handle. I found the piece in the vacuum and super glued it back on we will see if it holds. It looks like it's part of the left side handle so whole handle would have to be replaced. The part number is blocked as unavailable like festool won't sell it.

Part #11 - Pistol Grip on EKAT isn't blocked for me; it appears to be priced at $28.50 for the REB, and $43.10 for the EB (pre-2019).

Thanks for the replies. The supper glue is holding but at least I know the part is available at a reasonable price. I'll get it ordered, I was worried I'd have to send it in.
