[attachthumb=3][attachthumb=2][attachthumb=1]Well, I finally got around to making a sturdy stand for the Kapex. I was using 2 very wobbly and rickety saw horses before. I bought these saw horse kits from the hardware store. They are made by Fulton. Product number is 8909. Just make sure you buy 2 of them and not one. I made that mistake thinking that there was enough to make 2 horses, but only 1 set per box.
I wanted to place them one right behind the other, but, the forward legs of the rear horse would have put the back horse way too far back. I had to adjust the front legs to make it so when all assembled the saw would fit perfectly on the 2 x 6's and be level. I know it looks funny to you professionals, I am not the best design engineer when it comes to designing stuff. Yes, this is over engineered but it is VERY sturdy! Constructive comments welcome.
