Kapex with MFT/3

I'm finally moving into a more permanent shop and have some room to set up several tools at once.

I was a little disappointed to see that the MFT/3 sits about 5mm short of my Kapex on the UG wheel stand.  I was hoping I could 'but' them up together and use the MFT/3 like a feed table.

Does anyone know if the Kapex MFT would that bring my Kapex to the same height as my MFT/3?

All things being equal, the MFT/3 and the Kapex on the UG stand should be the same height out of the box: 900 mm.

Is everything mounted correctly on the UG stand?  Anything out of sorts with the floor and the wobble adjustments on either the UG stand or the MFT/3?  Is the top on the MFT/3 original?

Which one is taller in this case?

The Kapex sits about 5mm taller than the MFT/3 (just over 3/16")

Top of MFT/3 is original.

There is only (1) leg of adjustment on the MFT/3 and it doesn't wobble in the slightest.  I'm pretty sure I do have the leveling feet up on the Kapex but I'll double check.

Yes. This picture is a bad angle to show it but I was using the MFT/3 for the extended support.

I have an old kapex that I bought as an EB set version that came with the mft 800 (2007). To be able to use the extension wings on my cs 70 (which is the same height as the mft3) I used to put pieces of scrap under the legs of the cs 70, untill I got tired of that and cut down the pipes that are the legs of the extensions, and, years later, the legs of the mft 800. (The mft 800 was higher than the mft kapex that replaced it later, the difference was about 20 mm)

You could make some blocks to raise the mft3 (some pieces of scrap, maybe drill a hole with a forstnerbit so they can't move and the remaining height from the bottom of the hole is the needed thickness)

yes the kapex MFT will put the Kapex at the exact hieght you need for the MFT3. I use my MFT 3 for infeed and out feed tables
