Hi all here is my kitchen built in I did for my buddy. The space was 64" wide x 87" tall. The kitchen is small maybe 10x10 but has 10' ceilings so I said go up as tall as we could. The cabinets are built out of 3/4" prefinished birch and the doors are 3/4" mdf routerd edges (he still has to do the rest of the doors drawers are done) 1/4" hardboard panel that is tongue and groove glued and clamped. For the upper Cabinet its 24" deep he wanted the two doors to be as tight as we could get them.
( I recommended we leave 1/6" for expansion if the was any he refused) but he was paying so I had to listen. He is waiting for a painter to paint the kitchen.

Nice job!  Thanks for sharing.

Why didn't your buddy want drawers on the right side as well?  It would make access a lot better in the corner.

It looks like the shelves are adjustable.  What did you use to do the shelf holes inside the cabinets?

Nice job.  With those size drawer fronts, rail and stiles would have looked on them as well.  But you have to give the paying customer what he wants!  Thank you for sharing.  Bill

he wanted to be able to put larger items in the shelfs. For the holes I just cut scrap wood to fit in the shelf measured 6" for top and bottom. Then I drilled holes every 1 1/2" and put a stop so I didn't drive to deep.

I tried to get him to do all rail and style but he was adamant he wanted to match the 30 plus year old cabinets.

Ok here is an update the client just sent me pictures of the cabinets all painted looks even better.
