Knaack Monster Box Model 1000 - SOLD -

Bought this new for an out of state project. Used it for 1 summer and brought it back home. It's in new condition, has caster wheels, and I have about 20 extra keys. These keys can only be ordered though Knaack and can not be duplicated at a locksmith.

Cost new was $1,600.00 + tax. Will sell for $800.00 Now $600.00. Must pick up in person or be willing to pay the freight. Great deal if you have a use for it.

I know, I forgot about them and when I went out to take some pictures I saw them there. Some say one freeze would be ok since they are unopened. I brought them in the house but not to sure if I trust using it now. They will probably be donated to the high school wood shop if they want them.

titebond claims it is freeze thaw stable.

Ttitebond original could take 5-6 freeze thaw cycles per the Titebond specs., BUT if you do not let every little bit thaw and then really mix it and I mean mix it well you will get a much weaker glue. I don't think that during shipping the glues ever really freeze to the extent of freezing solid, so mixing may not be required for that.

I have had frozen solid Titlbond III and used it before. I let it thaw a bit and mixed it, I could snap the glue joints. The second gallon I let thaw for a week. I dumped it all out and mixed it in a huge bowl. It worked like new.

So I would say be very careful when using frozen glue and let it thoroughly thaw. AND test it.

Yes I also found it very important to mix Titebond after a freeze very well.
