I dont use my domino much anymore but I got some use out of her today for some laundry baskets Im building.  Kind of silly to be excited about laundry baskets but its hard to find a good basket these days.  We had some nice baskets from costco that we liked but they dont sell them anymore plus they all have a taper which wastes space.  As part of my upcoming built in, folding, vacuum press build.  Im also trying to maximize any storage as well.  I will be making 6 of these that can all be housed in a cabinet sized to accommodate them for zero wasted space.  I did a finger joints on the cnc with Dominos to lock the fingers so there's no way to separate the sides without ripping the Dominos clear through the RB but Im sure my kids are going to try... Going to add some casters to them too.

Nice. You cut those on the CNC? The domino locking pins are a good idea.

I cut the main basket and finger joints on the CNC if you look close you will see the dog bone fillets in the corners.  Glued it up, waited for the glue to set up a bit and then plunged the through dominos. Basket went together perfectly no adjustments needed.  Trick is knowing your machine and building in the right amount of tolerance so it goes together tightly but not to the point of beating it to death.

[member=58857]Crazyraceguy[/member] back before RB hit $200 a sheet I used to build all my drawers like that.  I have posted my method here before.  But I pin the corners with a 23ga pin nailer to hold till the T3 sets up then go back and cut the through Dominos.  With 3/4 RB the 6mm dominos are a touch short so I put a small rabbit on the sides so the domino is more centered.  Works like a charm every time.  No layout, no marking. no keeping track of up, down, front, back yada yada.  just tack em all up and an hour or so later you can plunge all the Dominos. Plus it looks good IMO

I used the through Domino technique on a tool tote I built with my Grandson this Summer.

I made the Dominos from scraps of Walnut.

The finger hole lets him lift the bottom to access compartmented storage for tools below.
I gave him some small hand tools and a pair of safety glasses. They all fit below in the
storage area.

It's nothing fancy. At 6 years old he won't stay focused on something long enough to get
into detailed construction.

It's nice, and you are a good grand dad for doing it with him.  Even if it doesnt seem like it he will always remember these times, he will.  I have very fond memories of spending time with my grandfather doing target sports which I will never forget.
