Just thought I'd give some props to Kreg customer service here.  After a little more than 3 years of use, the mechanism on one of my 6" Kreg automaxx clamps failed, which I use all the time for work hold-down on my hybrid bench and MFT.  There was not an obvious fix that didn't involve trying to disassemble the thing and tinkering with it, so I called up Kreg HQ to see if maybe I could just send it into them to do what was probably a simple fix for their engineers.  Without prompting they offered to send me out a new one, even though I had bought it through Amazon and not directly from them, and on the books they only have a one year warranty.  It's only a $40 clamp, so no biggie either way, but the fact that they are willing to so readily stand behind their products is impressive, and will keep me buying their stuff well into the future.

My son in law bought a Kreg workbench after seeing mine.  I forget what the issue was but they sent him another one and told him to keep the damaged one which was perfectly usable after I bent and filed the extrusion where the clamp rides.

I lost one of the 8 screws that hold the two tracks together for the Kreg Accu-cut, so I contacted customer service to ask about buying replacement screws.  They sent me the 8 screws and the two aluminum pieces to join the tracks together, all free.  They're too nice.

Also, I emailed them previously to ask about the dimensions of the mobile project center in the box so I could figure out if I could pick up the two I wanted with my car or if I needed to borrow a truck from someone.  I got a response back about 20 minutes later with exactly what I was looking for.  They're such awesome folks there.

I have one of the R3 I believe, the small portable system I use on jobsites. The plastic plate that holds the clamp broke.
I just contacted them to see if I could order that part alone. Without prompting they just sent a while new base and the attaching drill guide.
Sold me into being a continuing customer of theirs for a long time to see.

Great stories and good to know that Kreg's thinking of their customers first, thank you.

Kreg is great. I still have the original K1 I bought some 25 years ago!  All metal.

Glad you all are happy with their support.

I think Kreg makes some good tools too but there is one area that I found lacking. You can't buy pats for the Kreg Foreman. I lost one of the rubber feet for the Foreman and it's a unique design/shape that you will not find a replacement for anywhere. Went to their website to buy another but they had no provision for buying replacement parts. When I contacted them by email they told me as much. They said about the only piece they would/could replace is the motor.

I find this crazy. It's a $400 tool and you cant buy replacement fence parts, the rubber feet, or any other part, not even the motor. You MIGHT be able to get a replacement motor if you contact them, that's what they told me.  But there is no place on their website or person you can call and order a replacement part for the Kreg Foreman from. That was 2 years ago.

So I took the other three feet off and use it without. I usually have it screwed down to the bench but the one time I took it on the road to use onsite I lost a foot and never found it, and couldn't buy another. Two of us retraced our steps and looked for over 20 minutes but it was no where to be found.

Other than that disappointment I think they are great.
