Wow. Sticker shock. At $120-$150 per pair I would be really interested.

Might as well toss another $100 on the pile and you have a pair of their Mobile Project Centers?

The price seems kind of high.  Why not just get two mobile project centers?  That's what I have and I LOVE them.  I'm using them both in sawhorse mode now with the 2x4s to connect and plywood on top while I'm cutting down 8 sheets of plywood for a project I'm working on.  They are amazing and I love how they fold up and get out of the way.

I love my 2 Kreg Mobile Project Centers!

The main advantages of the Kreg Track Saw Horses seem to be the adjustable height and the fact that they are more portable than the Mobile Project Centers.

Kreg may be targeting existing Mobile Project Center owners who want to expand their capabilities, but in a slightly cheaper and lighter package than an additional Mobile Project Center.

It should also be noted that the Kreg Track Saw Horses come with an Automaxx Clamp.  It doesn't look like the Toughbuilt Horses have a track to accept any type of clamp to the top.

I eagerly bought two mobile project centers, used them, and love their capability.

HOWEVER - they are so darn heavy that I often bypass them and grab a pair of cheap broken plastic big box horses that are in the corner of the shop. The project centers can only be carried one at a time, and are a bear to haul a couple hundred feet to a work site.

The new horses appear to be a good quality middle ground alternative.

Did set off a "ding" in my head, i.e. why'd I never thunk of that.

I constantly use these MFT extension arms made from 80/20 and MDF. Thought would be rather than the elaborate 80/20 table frame just add some cheap folding sawhorse legs to the bottom.

The benefit of those arms is they provide clamping via the t-slot with sacrificial MDF strip for track saw cutting.

Another project for my list. Thanks.

I agree.  You can create 2 mobile track horses by using 2 Mobile work centres with the table leafs folded down.  I don'e see the point in this product at all.  Even the Rockwell & Triton Jawhorse makes more sense since the Jawhose can hold a bike, a door, ect

Kreg better go back to the drawing board on this one.

Frankly I agree with all your comments. I think the concept is good, but the prices is 2x-3x higher than it should be, for what is basically an extrusion mounted to a set of legs. I would pay $35 MAXIMUM for something like this.

The mobile project center looks promising.  I read through the specs but can’t find the diameter of the dog holes.  Are they ¾” or 20mm?
