Just finished this.  Got advice here regarding how to radius outside box joint corners on the skirt and ended up simply marking the radius and hitting it freehand on my stationary bench top belt sander - easy and no issues.  I'm very happy with the looks of long to end grain transition. Thanks to many who offered advice.

This project pushed my hobby guy skills a bit.  I've taken to combining metal and wood in number of projects now, and it's always slow going but often results in an interesting finished piece.

Legs are attached with Dominos to foot pieces made from 1/8" copper bar stock laminated to wood:  That was pretty much a pain as I pre cut mortise in the wood with my DF500 and then extended it into copper with hand tools after epoxying the two pieces together.  Looks nice, but really slow going and my wrists still hurt from filing the copper.

Great looking table. Just really a nice design and I also like the combination of material choices.
