A long time ago I purchased a Laguna Driftmaster fence. The fence itself is quite robust and very accurate as well. However the mounting system that Laguna included with the fence looks crummy and is difficult to set accurately. Therefore I was inspired to design a superior mounting system for the Driftmaster. Thus was born the Precision Pro Fence Mount. It is fabricated out of 3/4 inch thick aircraft type 6031 aluminum and anodized blue to match the other anodized parts on the saw. It has elevation adjusting set screws that facilitate the setting of the fence to be perpendicular along its full travel across the table of the saw. It would be available through me. I have each one CNC milled out of the 3/4 inch aluminum. After mill work is done the piece gets anodized blue to blend into the styling of the Laguna 14SUV. I have been enjoying using my saw more than ever since I incorporated this into my unit!

The first thing to do is to measure the distance for the mounting holes on the table, it should be 16.50 inches on center. The support studs for the fence bar should be set to the distance of 15.75 inches on center. This is just to make certain that your saw and fence are the same dimensions as mine. Once that is verified the process can begin. Understand this is a custom made CNC milled piece of aircraft aluminum which is anodized for long service life, i.e. it ain't cheap!! If your still intrigued by the idea of a mount that can be accurately adjusted and that will hold that adjustment long term then let us proceed!
