im not sure but they are both good. my opinion based on what iv seen and read is that the felder stuff is ahead. i woulndt think you would be disapointed with either

From a starting point I think Hammer and Laguna are both on par, but the Hammer has more local coverage today ... I'd be looking for a "special deal" to be an early local adopter  [wink]

Had a quick chat to them today. Not a lot of stock arriving in the first shipment but they do have a bandsaw coming 14suv I think but they did make it sound good
Will have to look into it a bit further as about 1k cheaper than the hammer!

I have owned both Laguna and Hammer and in my experience, Laguna couldn't hold Hammer's jock.  I had a Laguna table saw and the blade wobbled and their only answer was to send me a new arbor and expect me to change it out.  The dust collection was horrible.  I now have two Hammer machines and couldn't be happier.  The different WW forums are littered with posts from guys who have experienced the bad CS from Laguna.  I won't buy anything but Hammer/Felder from now on.
