Lamello set to introduce another fitting for the Zeta.. the Tenso

Here we have another Lamello fixing for the ever ever expanding Zeta range the tenso

it is a clip together fiting which exerpt's 15kg of joining force so is an ideal  gluing aid

for materials from 13mm thick

i doubt they will be expensive there are no moving parts, so no assembly is involved

I think they will be sold in packs of 80.. 300 and 900... the 1000 pack is coming latter

I tried some today and they would be great for glueing... go for a dry fit with  the biscos' and then swap them out for the tenso

Maybe, but you'd have to space them as closely as the cheap biscuits since they "exert only 15kg of joining force"

I think it would be good if you had the Zeta P machine.  If you already have a biscuit joiner, I would think the K-20 self clamping biscuit would be less expensive.

It would be nice if there were some RTA and self clamping options available for the Domino.

I have just purchased a lamello P2 Zeta. I had a demo of one and just had to buy it. When using the Tenso P14, the amount of time I am already saving on glue ups is considerable. So easy to use with first class results. Expensive I know but in terms of time saved will pay for itself in no time.  I forgot to add, I emailed Lamello in Switzerland who responded the same day. They got the Rep from Axminster Tools, based close to me to arrange a demo. They even came to my work shop to give me the demo. Needless to say how impressed I was I ordered one in a systainer from Switzerland. What was more impressive was they left me with there machine until mine arrived and then changed them over.

The zeta P2 is an awesome machine! It's pricey but looks extremely well built. But as was already stated, if you're cranking out a lot of product, the time saved on glue ups would end up paying for the machine in the long run. self clamping elements on the domino would be cool but I don't see it as possible as there is no way to tooth a domino in the mortise slot like the zeta can

Hi, thanks for the welcome, I got the demo at my workshop, they came to me, what a tool, I now have to rebook my work schedule as I'm putting things together so much quicker. After the demo I had already made up my mind to buy it. Ordered one in a systainer to go with the rest of my kit. They left me with there demo tool to use and have only just changed it over for my one. Got the demo from Axminster Tools. Hope this helps
