The attic lid for the more-often-used stuff was a stroke of genius.

The more-often-used stuff in the lid I can take credit for, but the idea for the attic lid itself came from our own Walk On Wood. Thank him!

That's me! Just got my kit today, its awesome! Thanks again for all of your hard work.  It's the only systainer in my truck that Im hoping I will never have to take out, but I'm glad its in there if I need it.

Just received my kit in the Mail today, It's like Christmas in July...  [eek] .  That kit has some heft to it...  Wow you did an amazing job...Thank you

Jason

Parden my enthusiasm...Mr. Brown left me some presents today and I have to post pictures!  I had nothing more than a band aid in the house and the 9 year old first aid kit that came with my car prior to today, so this was definitely needed.  The biggest issue I have right now is I have NO idea what the hell is where in this kit, so if something happened today, I would turn up upside down, dump the contents and frantically look for something suitable.  That's okay, I'll sit down eventually and pick through it so I can familiarize myself with all the stuff.  Huge thanks to wow for an awesome job!!  Yes, you ran behind schedule, but I think that was expected to some extent.  The finished product exceeded all expectations!

The packing job.  Fit neatly in a perfectly sized cardboard box.

Silk screening came out nice!

This little container nests in there perfectly.

And this is the reason why I won't be familiarizing myself with the contents right now...directly a result of the FOG!  To be installed in the garage in the next few weeks.

FANTASTIC job on the First Aid Kit.  Mine arrived and I was blown away with all that is in it.

You really outdid yourself.

This kit almost needs instructional videos to tell us when and how to use all the contents!

Over the top and well beyond the call of duty.

Thanks for giving back!

It's really funny that you posted that. If you are on a 'true' trauma scene - i.e when seconds count - with someone from EMS (especially a Medic, or Doctor) they MIGHT ask you to get something from your kit. More likely, though, they'll just grab your kit and dump it upside down on the nearest horizontal surface, then paw through it for what they want. Besides the fact that it will only fit one place without being in the way, that's the other reason why the big 12" x 30" trauma pad is on the bottom of the kit. If you're in a situation that needs it, your kit will be spread out over three counties anyway.

[big grin]

When you have time to look closely at your kit, you'll see that I've allowed for this. Most items are sterile sealed. Some are double sealed, like the Hydrogen Peroxide and Betadyne Solutions. All bandages are individually sealed AND inside zip-lock bags (except for the ones in the lid). Meds are individually sealed AND inside the plastic 'Med Box' to protect them further. The Med Box might go skittering down the road, but your meds won't go flying (individually) if your systainer DID get dumped.

And very little of what's in your kit would be damaged if it got dumped onto the roadway in a rain or snow storm. Been there, done that!

But, knowing how hard I worked to fit it all in there 'just right' and what a pain it would be for you if you had to do that all by yourself with no help...

I will be making a time-lapse video showing EXACTLY
where everything goes inside the First Aid Systainer!

You can use it to re-pack your First Aid Systainer anytime, in almost no time!

I'll get it posted here before I ship the very last of the First Aid Systainers.

WOW - I have told you this before, but what an amazing job you did with these! Well thought out and well executed - fantastic!! [wink]

You know, I know you put a lot of thought into these, but once again you've proven I've underestimated just how much!

Lovemytoys, they are B&W AM1's.

I don't think anyone imagines exactly how much time I put into these. I'm WAAYY over what even I thought it would take. It's probably close to 500-600 hours now, if I had to guess. Then again, a LOT of that time involves me being ADD and a perfectionist too boot!

But I'm happy to do it. Besides, I get paid the same on the deal regardless:

Regular time I get nothing, but OVERTIME I get nothing and a HALF!

[wink]  [thumbs up]

Keep those posts coming telling me how much you like 'em and stroking my ego! I still have a BUNCH of First Aid Systainers to get out yet this week! And for those of you still waiting...

Don't worry, I will get them out ASAP!!!

[big grin]

Just got notified that mine has shipped! I am excited about it! Thanks again for all your hard work.

Yes, I just got home from making (or taking?) a major dump at FedEx.  [cool]

I have been up for over 50 hours straight trying to get as many kits packaged and shipped as I could. Mrs. WOW took over boxing of the First Aid Systainers so that I could process labels and we could get it all to FedEx before their self-imposed deadline of 6pm. We were done unloading at 5:50!

This week's lucky FOGgers that had their packages handed off to FedEx are:

bwiele
blk65brd
Alex H
WPeters
Sal LiVecchi
Throwback7r
truckie6606
lawhoo
Cedar Shaker
hullbert
dbworkshop
James Metcalf
epicxt
Holzhacker
GPowers
Navy8er
Brent J
blk65brd (2nd kit)
Bruce W
arbfincarp
jimmyjam
sgt_rjp
Navy8er (2nd kit)

and, finally,

TelcoRandy (Technically not shipped today since it will travel via USPS to the land of frozen toes and tushes. Wait - that's where I live. Maybe he needs to change his name to TundraRandy?

Anyway, keep the porch light on and your front step clear - good things are headed your way!

Thanks again WOW.

The internet is great. I had a Fedex notice in my inbox about 20 mins ago.

You're welcome! I hope you enjoy it immensely, and never have to use it for anything more serious than a sliver!

[big grin] I got my shipment notice! I got my shipment notice!!! TeeHee!!.....Ahem....okay, I'll try and be more dignified.... [big grin]

I have just over a dozen kits left to ship from the 'First Edition'. I will try my darndest to get them out before the end of next week, but I need to take care of some things personally that may take precedence early in the week. I'll keep everyone informed, of course, in case it looks like that date is gonna slip.

Just checking to see if anyone knows for sure, but - if need be - isn't next Friday July the 32nd?

[wink]
