Thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication in designing, procuring, constructing, assembling, and shipping a truly “First” aid kit.  You surpassed my expectations.  I am very grateful for your dedication.  You provided a super fantastic product, and just as important, you communicated to your customers by keeping us informed.  I hope the only thing I need it for is removing wood splinters!

I got mine today!!!!!!  Wow, you did an unbelievable job and I am so proud and happy to have this first aid systainer!  I'll be putting in the additions tonight.  Everything fits perfectly, and I can't imagine the time and effort it took for you to pull this off--but I am so thankful.  I work in a fairly dangerous industrial environment, and now I know that I have the right tools if, god forbid, something ever happens.

By coincidence, I had a doctor's appointment today.  So, when I take my new kit in to work tomorrow,  I'm thinking about telling all my coworkers that they hand these out to new patients    [tongue]

I got mine yesterday.  The wife had to see as she used to be a nurse.  She said about the only thing missing is a suture kit.  Anyway she did make another comment when I put it out in the garage shop.  How much would the heat affect the contents since I live in the desert (avg high is 105 in mid July)?  I do usually keep it air conditioned in the MID 80s when I am not working in there.

It's best if you can keep it away from extremes of heat and cold. I apologize, but I can't answer exactly as to what will happen if you let it get too warm for too long. Certainly some of the meds will be affected, so could you perhaps keep them somewhere else - like in the refrigerator in the shop (if you have one) or right inside the door in your conditioned space?

Wayne, the 2 first aid kits showed up and great job on them, my significant other was impressed, she is an LPN with terrible bed side manners whose usual comments when  she sees one of my injuries is "omg that looks terrible".  Hopefully at this point in my life the only thing I may be treating is puppy bites, looked for the kevlar gloves in there but did not find any.

Thanks again for all the efforts on this, look forward to seeing one more coming some day from Fedex, maybe this time the tracking will actually show it leaving MN.

I received mine today and it's awesome - WOW did a fantastic job putting these together.  This thing is loaded - Way more than any other kit I've seen.  I'm quite impressed - I'll post photos after I figure out where it's going.  Thanks again Wow!

I apparently spent too much time standing on concrete over the weekend in shoes that weren't acceptable. Yesterday I had to use one of the elastic (ace) bandages to wrap my ankle and I still can't stand or walk on it - at all. Nothing in the kit strong enough for drugs, so I called the Dr today and Mrs. WOW went and picked up some good drugs for me. Even though they are narcotic they are BARELY taking the edge off the pain.

Looks like it will be a miserable few days until things settle down...

Another 'fun fact' for you:

You might remember (OK, you could look it up at the beginning of this thread) that I originally guestimated the shipping costs would average $20 per First Aid Systainer, and predicted that should be very close.

I got my first invoice from FedEx, and the actual averaged shipping cost on the first batch was - wait for it - $20.26.

I am pretty pleased that I was that close, and thought I'd take a moment to gloat a little.

Enjoying the fun facts. And the first aid kit!  One possible "after market" addition:  mole skin for blisters.  I plan to take this on hunting, camping, and other outdoor trips when not in the shop, and that would be nice to have.

Mole skin would absolutely be a great addition. I wish I would have thought of it in the first place!

FedEx says 5 First Aid Systainers were delivered in the lower 48 yesterday, and USPS says one was delivered to Canada today. Let's hear about 'em, please?

I have a choice of 2" x 4" strips, and 3" x 4" patches of Mole Skin. Which would you prefer, and how many would you want for your kit? And yes, you can get some of each if you want.

For example, maybe you want a total of twelve: 6 2x4 strips and 6 3x4 patches. I don't have exact prices yet, but the 2x4 inch strips are less than 50¢ each, and the 3x4 inch patches are less than a dollar, so that combination would be less than $9 for planning purposes.

If anyone else is also interested let me know your preferences and I'll put together a supplemental package to go in the First Aid Systainer.
