2nd to last picture the curved studding has got a curved top which is gery in colour what is that?!?! Trying to firgure out what it is is it just coloured timber am I just being stupid lol. Im just curious!

I think I can see it now.  I have not seen that before. Flexi metal made for 4x2 timber

The curved plates on that little wall are called Flex C Track. Kinda pricey up front but much lower labor costs, fast build and rock solid, makes any shape.

I have lots more pictures but they are on another computer back home. I was on this job for 13 months. They are still working on it. Price tag reportedly is pushing 6.5m. I was not the GC. My very close best friend is.

What stops the Flex Track from bending back so if I lent on that wall it would just bend?!?! If when you screw it and stays rigid?!

Ah just looked for Flex C  on Google found this.  Looks like good stuff! Dont know if you can buy it in the UK though.

I used some of the Flex track stuff on a few commercial build outs for curved flowing walls. Don't remember if it was this exact brand. Stuff work great, holds well and saves tons of time. As Taos mentioned, it is very pricey. Drywall supply houses around here carry it. Never seen it at HD.
Very nice work. Whenever I do stairs I talk customers into the larger, platform type 1st and/or 2nd steps if space allows. It really makes the base of the stairs more dramatic.
