That's the point. That particular joint is not supposed to come apart. Some of the contributors to this thread are contemplating unauthorized modifications.

Just used the ETSC/SandStand yesterday to remove circuit board flash from some LED lights that are being installed in stainless housings for outdoor steplights. Once the flash was removed, the OD also needed to be pared down slightly to fit into the existing housings.

A pretty simple process and certainly 10x safer than performing the same operation on my Jet 12" disc sander. This method really saved my finger tips because I made contact with the disc 10-12 times.
