I bought this level only the other day through recommendation on this forum. Only had it a couple of days so not really had much chance to use it but here is a quick review.
I took these pics this morning I used a ceiling prop to stick the laser to, the swivel bracket that the laser has built in has a very strong rare earth magnet on it so it sticks well to anything metal, it even has a v groove in it so it centres on the pole perfectly. The silver part you can see is a touch switch that toggles through 1 horizontal and vertical 2 vertical 3 horizontal. You can also lock the pendulum for casting a sloped laser line and for transporting the laser.
The laser looks very bright and its about 2 to 3 mm wide which isn't thin but isn't the fattest laser line I have seen , its supposed to be accurate within 0.3mm per metre which is pretty good and it has a range of up to 250m with a detector or 20m without. The unit also swivels right around so when stored the lenses are protected.
This picture doesn't really show how good the line is in real life. To give you an idea of the spread of the laser here its attached to a pole at about 5ft high and about 10ft from the wall, the horizontal line stretches right along the walls to within about 12" from 90 degrees from the side of the laser and its about the same with the vertical beam too, so not bad. I think if you were say doing a suspended ceiling and you set it up in one corner you wouldn't have to move it much.
As I say I have only just got this laser if I find anything more out about it I will add to this review.
