I am headed to the Indy 500 next week and was thinking about taking a side trip to the Festool facility on Saturday.  Trying to figure out if that is something worthwhile, i.e., not sure if it is a retail center with a showroom or just a corporate offices with training facilities used for scheduled classes.  Thanks.

Lebanon is the corporate headquarters for Festool USA.  It houses their offices, service center for the US, distribution center as well as having training facilities for dealers and end-users on a scheduled basis. No retail center.

They are not open on weekends.

We're glad you'll be in the area. The facility in Lebanon is our North American headquarters. It's an office, warehouse and training space. Also, we aren't open on Saturdays.

If you're in the area during a workweek, you're welcome to stop by for a tour or just to say hi.

(And enjoy the 500! I've lived in Indiana most of my life, and I'm going to for the first time this year.)

Thank you.  Might just need to sign up for a class.

YES INDEED! I have taken several classes in Las Vegas, they are fantastic. Be sure to sign up on the training website for email notifications, the classes are small, typically 6 people, and fill up fast!

Yea but ya run into some shady characters in those classes

Let's see, I have had the pleasure to meet Brice, Tom, Kreg, Dan, Darcy, Holzhacker, Don, Jesse, Sean, David, Howard, Joe, and about 30 other great members at classes.  And Christian, Michael, Martin, Shane, Rick, Sedge, Steve, MINNIE!, Lester  [sad], and more of the Festool family.

The classes are great.  Those you meet and interact with are priceless.

Peter

(PS:  I apologize for not instantly recalling everyone's name I was blessed to meet.  I do definitely remember the great times and conversations and tips given!)

Very worthwhile. Brian, the class instructor in Lebanon, is much more than that. He has a long history of experience in cabinet-making along with his extensive knowledge of the Festool line and how the tools can be used in woodworking. I always thought the Basic Essentials course wouldn't be worthwhile since I've used Festools for awhile and have been a woodworker on the side for some time also. Wrong. Brian always has answers for questions on the Festool tools as well as techniques. The router class, Doors and Drawers are also great. Anyway, I learned enough to make them all worthwhile.

If they're closed on Saturday does that mean Connect is a hoax???

Where and what time?

Tom

We're so excited about Festool Connect that we're willing to come in to the office ... ... ... ON A SATURDAY!

(Well, not me personally. I'll be at my counsin's wedding, but you get the point.)
