Lee Valley 2nd sales starting in a few minutes. around 9am PST

I got in within the first 20 secs., and browsed around. I have pretty much everything (that I need)  there, so I exited within a couple of minutes in order to let others in. I did give the flush cut saws and knives a look or two, but in the end, my wallet thanked me.
 
Drats!  I was looking to get one of the combination planes and they finally had one listed.  Sorry to say that by the time I got in (about ten minutes after it started) they were already sold out!  [mad]  It was marked down about $110!  [mad] [mad]

Maybe next time!

I have tried the Lee Valley seconds sale many times in the past and always got skunked.

This time I got a shooting plane and dovetail saw.  Yay.  Almost sprang for the front vise. 

Lee Valley, if you're reading this, PLEASE bring back the Tucker vise.

I've wanted that for years... even if they did a One-Time-Tool-Aye™️ run of them, I'd be on that in a heartbeat

Thanks [member=7659]waho6o9[/member]! I've been watching for the combo plane for a number of years now and I think this might be the first time it came up on the sale.  I can't complain too much though since I've managed to get a good number of planes and saws in past sales.  I will keep watching!

Thanks.  Glad to hear it.  I was looking for alternatives to my cheap front vise, but I guess I'll wait for the Tucker. 

I'm on the Lee Valley e-mail list, will it be announced there?
