If you would like Festool USA to distribute these Festool products, please add a post to this thread. Thank you.

You can learn more about the products here:http://www.festool.co.uk/artikel/ar...EN=71599231&jsessionid=4030d85e2c1c2f26575eTR

I am not a Festool employee, rather I am merely an individual who would like to purchase these products in the USA.

If I was a drywall contractor you can be sure I would have a couple on the job site.

If they could get one in my hands within the next week or so, I would order it tomorrow.

personally I don"t sand that much drywall, but if I did looks like the planex would be the ticket. How much is it ? Looks as tho' you'll need that vac also. I think it would be very popular with drywallers. thanks dan

This would make the combination of Brilliant 220, RO150, and CT33 I used on my last job rather pathetic looking.  It did work much, much better than doing it by hand.  I couldn't see paying $2k for it, but if I could use it with my CT33, I'd definitely look into it.

I remove wall paper almost every day, and repair and sand the wall afterwards. Over half the rooms i do are bath rooms . Right now I am using a Porter Cable Drywall sander that is 12 years old and ready to retire. The Planex would be much easier to use in tight spaces. Lets have it Festool.

If it can be used to safely remove lead-based paint from plaster walls, I'll buy the sander and dust extractor.  In fact, I'd pay somebody in England to buy & ship them for me if they could get one that ran on 110V or 115V.  Maybe I should ask the price first.

Regards,

John

I did a bunch of drywall back in my day in college and have done a ton in the various houses i have owned.  Would have loved to have had one of the these puppies.  Knowing festool's rep for dust collection, I bet its a hummer.
