I find ' +1' posts very frustrating, particularly as in most cases they offer no additional comments or discussion to the topic. In fact I would even say they are time wasters.

If you don't like it why not just ignore it?  I mean it's not like you have to spend lots of time reading it right?
What about using "ditto"  or "same here" or "i'm with ..."    "I agree"
Should we ban that too?

It would be so tempting to +1 to this but only with regard to those long signature lists. Thank goodness some members do not do it because their lists would run to pages and pages.  [smile] As has been mentioned before elsewhere on the FOG recently, such listing can be perceived as a shopping list for thieves.

It also increases 'Festool anxiety' for some members.  [big grin]

Maybe some more colorful terms like. "I smell what your cooking" "I'm down with that" "true dat" "I'm picking up what your putting down" "I heard that" or sometimes at work I will say "let's run it up the flag pole and see if any one salutes. I think someone might have slipped me some of those drugs that WOW is taking everything seems funny to me this morning.

I know where the phrase "drinking the kook-aid" comes from. Not sure if it was green kook-aid used in the original "incident".
