Lex 150/7 pros or cons

these air sanders are one of the few festools i don't own and is my next purchase I'm looking for any input on these good or bad ;D [scared]

I don't have too much "hands on" with Festool's air sanders, but have used them at Festool ww shows and as expected are smooth, quite and efficient. They are unique (as are most Festool tools) in that the hose combines dust extraction, air supply and exhaust. Fewer parts - lower wear/longer life and generally quieter (except for the compressor). Because (primarily) they require a fairly large compressor, they are better suited to large/and or industrial shops and those are the customers who  have bought them - including BMW NJ.

Bob do you know if the sander ,hose, adapter package comes with the asi 2 5000 hose
i have all the other components allready

If you sand all day long day after day, pnuematic sanders are the only way to go.

Lets parts to wear out and easy to fix.

Are you referring to the "3-in-1" hose?

sorry yes its the ias-2-5000 or 7000 and they all are 3 in 1 5000  is 16.2  7000 is 22.4

I need to double check with Festool - or maybe Shane can chime in, because I have only sold complete CT/150's packages, but I am fairly sure, they "3 in 1" hoses are not included.

Not surprised, caught some of the Festool LEX models in the video "Preparation of underground with the SATAjet 100 B spray gun series" if anyone was interested seeing them in actual auto refinishing use.  The word "underground" is probably just someone's translation of the German language from the German site.  They're referring to the body filler and primer.
