Hey all,
Anyone install any aftermarket lights
in the cargo area?  If so which ones did you go with?  I'm in search of a good solution possibly led setup.  I've got the tall promaster and the two factory light just don't cut it.  Any info or pictures [eek] would be great!

Thanks for any info!!

I got a kit of ebay. I think about 10 led (cluster of 3's) . I put two lines across top of van roof. No problem seeing at night or early morning now. I'll take photo tomorrow.

I have pretty much the same thing, 12v led strip wired directly into the old interior lights, will get you a pic tomorrow.

Lights

This is at night, it is SUPER BRIGHT in there!!

I did a rail of light at the top of the exterior cabinet so i could see them better at night or in parking garages

I have a 5metre led strip light that can be cut to length and joined together to loop it together. It has a transformer that goes from 240v to 12v. How would I wire that into my van?

If I'm correct you should be able to wire this straight in without the transformer. But someone please put me right if I'm not correct

I checked a couple of my strips here in the house.  You should be able to wire them thru a fuse to a switch to your strips directly from your battery or from the van fuse panel if you have any spares.

Use the existing cabling for you internal light, just replace the existing fitting with the 12v aftermarket. You wont need the transformer as vehicle already running 12v.

Best to disconnect battery first!  [wink]
