Trying to get better at wip's, I'm an improver.
Small loft room for a house that was built in 1867, so reasonably aged. It's for a young teenage girl, her parents and herself completely designed it...which made it interesting with 3 minds on the task. Any how, all mrmdf 18 mm carcass sprayed with Morrells W/B, 22mm doors with 9 mm panel and 6.4 mm glass. Blum under mounts and blum 110 degree hinges. I'm yet to install knobs as they have not chosen yet, also need to dismantle and re-assemble bed in the NY around the carpet fitters. PITA.

Mdf with painters grade edge banding. Brilliant! 2 primer & 2 top coat.





Bed has 3 x 100mm ply support pocket holed to the underside running full length.



Kitchen build in the NY, I'll do a better WIP then hopefully.

How's that filter in the air working out for you? Meant to get one in the black Friday sale, was it Garry who posted the one at Rutlands? Anyhoo, didn't, regret it now.
 
Honestly don't know! Better I guess, I just turn it on and forget about it. Rutlands sale also

Still looking out for a cheap adjustable hospital bed off eBay too but without transport, it's a bit of a challenge getting hold of one. How is it working out for you [member=22883]Mahomo59[/member] ?
 
I had the bed for a song. £50 off eBay from a nursing home in Bath, so just down the road. Binned the foot rest and headboard and for a few months just chucked a sheet of 8x4 mdf gash in there and it was ok.
Now it's brilliant! It's 2m X 1m now and is pretty much a carbon copy of the wood whisperer assembly table. Torsion box sandwiched with two 12mm mdf and 6mm melamine faced sacrificial top and it's very flat. Just waiting on some buckshee hardwood to dress the sides.
It is really great at what's it's designed for, assembling and glueing up is so much better now. The raise and fall of the bed is great too, no more over stretching etc, easier to remove stuff too.
When I have a friend in cutting, spraying or anything else I chuck a sheet of 8x4 on top as I don't want cut marks all over it.
Wheels are great too, moves so easily as it's designed to take a lot of weight. Two man lift into the back of my boxer, went In no sweat. Hope this helps.
 
Hi mate, great work.

Did you use prefinished boards for the cupboard units and just spray up the doors?
How do you get on with spraying in your shop, been wanting to spray finish my own work but worried about keeping it dust free.
 
Yes spray everything flat and assemble. The exposed items like doors, bed sides and panels all have a brush coat on them in case I need to touch up. I leave lacquer with the customer.
Workshop dust is never really a problem. I have all my sheet material cut and lipped for me from Avonplywood,it's a no brainier, no dust there. If I have been routering or other tools etc, I leave it a while for everything to settle.
Biggest problem is covering the WS in fine dust from the actual spraying. I have the filters and 450mm fan ready to build booth, I'm hoping this will help. Booth wall will be 3m long and returns 1.2m hinged to fold away. Initially it will internal venting. But hey, it has to better than what I got now.
No my supplier won't use prefinished boards as they have had issues with it transferring to their 100k saw! Wish they would.

...and have been looking for a decent priced bed on and off ever since. Not having something to collect it in is the biggest problem as they come up for sale fairly often.

As [member=22883]Mahomo59[/member] mentions, because of the height controls and the weight they're designed to take, and indeed the ease with which they need to move when the weight is on them, they make excellent bases for adjustable assembly tables.
