Long cheap AS hose

Just found this Cen-Tec 16 foot AS hose that fits Festool tools at Home Depot.

It’s only $82. Both ends fit Festool stuff. It tapers from 1-1/2” inside to 1-1/4”. The 16 foot length is kinda odd. Has two tool adapters for small and larger tool parts and also has a sleeve for reducing suction at the hose end.

Michael, that looks very similar to the AS hose sold by Bosch. Same price (on Amazon).

Also look up the Mirka 27mm AS hose: much cheaper than Festool, and much lighter.

Michael another option is the Flex 4M long 32mm antistatic hose 406708 at Lowes for $60, but, it doesn't come with any fittings.

The 16 foot length is kinda odd.

5 meters is 16 feet and 4.85 inches, 5m being a common Festool and Bosch hose length. On Cen-Tec’s website they use 5m and 16 feet interchangeably.

Doh! Right you are. Somehow I thought Festool holes are shorter. Maybe because my old ones are shorter from cutting them back to remove the ruptured section.
