After trying to be a "woodworker" for 20 years, I finally figured out that I like having a finished product more than the process of making it. I don't enjoy chiseling out mortises or hand-honing chisels or any of that traditional woodworking stuff. Anything that could make woodworking faster, easier, and more precise makes it less frustrating and more enjoyable.
I started with the DF-500 domino and that certainly solved my mortise-making issues. Since then I have acquired all three sizes of Rotex sanders and an OF-1400 router. I also built an MFT-style workbench that also serves as table saw outfeed table in my tiny shop.
