Long Wait Times on Festool Orders?

Hi -
Yes - there are significant delays appearing with all manufacturers, as supply chain issues continue to mount. We've seen lead times double in some instances - and are already experiencing shortages of many products, and raw materials.
I would expect supply problems in general to continue for at least another 8-12 months.

I ordered a couple of items at end of November from Industrial Supply in New Orleans. I was told they did not have in stock and they would have to backorder. Part of it came right before Christmas, the rest of the order will be here next week. Again, they warned me before hand, but if it is not in stock it takes awhile. They were good to deal with, and will buy from them again.
So yes, it can take awhile. I ordered from Beaver twice. Once was no problem, the 2nd time they had a lot of problems completing the order. I ordered some items on clearance and it took them a couple of months to get those items to me, something they clearly had in stock. The items were not significant to me, but I don't like paid invoices getting older and laying around unfilled. I think they were still working from home, and the right hand did not know what the left was doing. For them, I hope they figured this out.

The local Woodcraft store is down to seeds & stems...they normally have 20-25 Festool electrical tools on display, they now have 4. The accessories don't seem to be as much of a problem. I'll be running over to Woodcraft today to pick up some accessories I ordered about 10 days ago.
