It seems that the Forum Elf has been active and waiting to see if anyone noticed.

There are now tabs to connect with the Festool.com and Festoolsa.com websites up there.

Sneaky.  [poke]

I forgot to say  [thanks] to our Elf!  I visit those sites often.

Nice addition.  Now, one other suggestion...

Given the number of product specific sites, I wonder if there needs to be more.  I was looking at CMS videos and realized there was a FestoolCMS.com site.  No mention of that site on FestoolUSA website or the FOG unless you start digging into the threads.  I think there is a tracksaw.com site for the saws and maybe one for the drills. Perhaps these sites should be in the Header or Footer on the FOG or on the main Festool sites.

Elf, gnome, munchkin or other ... doesn't that deserve a poll ?   [big grin] [big grin]

Neil,

Personally I love your suggestion.  I have no idea how much it would be for our friend to do, but having links to other sites would be cool.  Festool.tv would be another.

Kev,

I ran the risk referring to our friend as ELF.  I don't think that gnome or munchkin would ensure that I got a Christmas card.  Proceed at your risk!  [poke]

I just notice the NEW menu bar.....

[big grin]      [not worthy]      [thanks]

You can thank JohnInTheCamper for asking for a link to the Festool USA website. I took a few minutes and added some other links to hopefully make it easier for all of our members to access common Festool sites. I only included links to the sites for members' countries that are most represented in visits to the FOG. I hope I don't upset some members who are in countries that visit the forum less often, but I needed to keep the menu short enough to fit on common screen sizes.

All I'm getting in Chrome is six inches of black.  Looks/works fine in IE, but I never use IE.

Odd. I'm using Chrome and it looks correct (on Windows) Version 26.0.1410.64 m. You can try a Ctrl+F5, which will force a reload of all page elements including the CSS file which may be cached by your browser.

Hope this works.  This is a screen print of what it looks like.  I have two monitors and the image is showing the print screen for both.

Kevin, clear your browser cache or do a Control+F5. The menu is there but the CSS which formats it isn't loading. Your browser is likely caching an old copy of the CSS file.

I had tried the CTRL + 5 you mentioned earlier, but that did nothing.  Clearing the cache did the trick.  Thanks Shane!

Yeah, I noticed that something seemed wrong with the page because the menu bar buttons are bigger and the drop downs were flashing every time I hovered over them.  [huh]  Oh wait a minute something is actually different here  [big grin]

Very handy  [thumbs up]

Can I be so bold as to suggest links to the Festool EKAT systems too? Perhaps as sub options for the country websites?

Hey, should the new tabs be green in color?  Since they serve as a function,  it would  go with the Festool theme.  Just a thought.
