As I do for relaxation during evening hours, I troll Marketplace for Festool deals - and found this COMPACT OF 2200 EB-F with SIDE HANDLE!

The guy is selling an OF 1400 EQ-F Plus and is identifying it that way. The Systainer has the correct model and the current SKU - and it's a 1400 body, but the badge says it's a 2200!

I've seen something like this before at a dealer near me where they had an ETS 150/3 with the ETS 150/5 badge on the body (the manufacturers plate and top stamping said it was a 150/3).

I thought it might be the seller manipulating the image and downloaded the image of the router in the Systainer and even that top down image read OF 2200.

Here's the ad, in case you'd like to see:

I think that I might have seen that in a Facebook thread and advised the owner to contact Festool about the mislabel. (I know I did for one case - perhaps there was a batch.)

I have such a Frankenstein ETS - almost. The plates on both sides of the body say 150/5. The big number on the top says 3.

To be fair, my ETS probably wasn't sold that way originally. It came from a shop which used a lot of 150/3 and 150/5 sanders, and I suppose some parts got switched during repairs.
