I'm posting this for a good friend of mine that is in a bind, He does Audio Video systems like I do and his carpenter he uses flaked out and he believes has left doing carpentry.

He needs a mantle built like this http://extremeelectronics.net/portfolio-2/tv-with-custom-mantle-whole-house-music-system-and-outdoor-music-system/ (that's his company)

His client is chomping at the bit to get this built and finished, he does alot of these types of jobs so it will be recurring work for you and the chance to meet some very prominent and wealthy clients. He allots ~$600 for the construction/labor of the mantel not including materials.

If you are interested and can help him out in the next week or two please PM me and ill get you his contact info (or feel free to contact him from the website)

He's a great guy and wants a partnership with a area carpenter/builder he can refer. Figured this would be a great place to connect the two of you!

TIA!

thats a good price! i made something similar out of walnut and charged 330 including labor/material but it was for a good friend.

It is! I mean really good i think. The problem is his carpenters have all been trunkslammers and flakes. Hes looking for a real company or individual to help him out.

He has a second mantle that needs to be done also.

I should also mention he has a few festool's himself! :)

Wish I was closer.  Looks like a well paying great opportunity!

i'd take the job(s) if he'd consider moving to Minnesota?

just wanted to share some of my work with you. this was the first thing i made with the ts55 and my first festool. i had no idea ppl pay for such custom work. just a walnut mantle with led lighting :)

I love your mitered corners. Very professional!

If you are an amateur, your work doesn't say that?!
