I'm a hobbyist woodworker and I recently purchased a used Felder K500 sliding saw from a cabinet shop.  It came with a couple of melamine blades but I'm also looking to get a Rip blade and some kind of combo blade to use with solid wood. I have used the Forrest WW II 40 tooth in the past with good luck but I was wondering if any of you with sliders could share your thoughts and experiences. Has anyone tried the Felder Silent combo blade? I will need a blade with a 30mm 2 pin arbour.
Thanks for your time.

Felder doesn't make the saw blades (most machinery brands don’t, eg Festools saws — and probably the Felder branded ones — are most likely made by Leitz) — you pay more what they buy in and have branded.

Research experiences from other users and try out what is recommended. (What is good and available also depends on your location. In the US Forrest gets mentioned a lot, in Europe Leitz, CMT, AKE and Freud.)
