So, I was going to whack together a homemade sysport after seeing all the great pics here.

Somewhere along the line, I goofed on the metric/inch conversions, and it ended up about 10mm too short to fit my systainers.  I was using some scrap mdf, so it is not that expensive a mistake.  Got me some melamine at Lowes, and am starting over.  Using a 32mm shelf pin drilling jig this time.

Guess I better buy a metric tape measure tomorrow at work, huh?
And, of course, no one in town has the 5mm euro screws - I predict a McFeeley's order coming up.

Mikey,

I bought one of those metric conversion calculators at Rockler on sale for about $5.  Works great.  Even does fractions to decimals to metric and back the other way.

That's not to say that I don't make other errors, but this certainly helps.
