I recently shipped some veneered table tops for a project in Los Angeles.  In transit, some got damaged.  I need to find someone local who can do some field touchups for the majority and then possibly remove the veneer and put new veneer and stain on a few.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Perhaps [member=8251]ccarrolladams[/member] (who has a cabinet shop in the area) might a suggestion.  You might want to shoot him a PM if he doesn't reply here.

I work with a friend doing furniture touchup and repair. We do quite a bit of onsite work for manufacturers, showrooms, and delivery services. We are in Orange County and may be able to help you with some of the work needed. Contact my friend, Mark Ellis (mestudio56@gmail.com) and if you have any pictures, that would be helpful, too.

Tony, you are a gentleman.  Thank you so much for coming to help me at such short notice.  You and Mark did an amazing job and hopefully this can turn into something really good for you guys in the future.

I'll be back in town in a couple of weeks and will definitely take you guys out to dinner for some delicious tacos!

Gabriel, thank you. Mark and I are glad we were able to help you. It's obvious to us why your clients wanted to have you do such a large west coast project for them. Your company does amazing work.

I know you are a busy guy, but it would be great to see some of your projects posted here on the FOG.

Have a safe flight back to NY and look forward to seeing you soon.

Hey Ron, I miss seeing Drew at Austin, too. He was great with the customers. Maybe, I'll see you at Austin when you get back to the States.

Also, got to say thanks for the endorsement regarding Mark.

I remember when He used to teach a water base finishes class. The man who distributed and sold the enduro finishes and Accuspray outfits (which I bought one) highly recommended Mark.

Im glad it worked out for all involved.

So what happened to Drew?
