Lost LED Headlamp battery cover!!!!

I lost my battery cover for the LED Headlamp.  Murphy's law - as it fell to the floor and then rolled into the abyss of a gap between the floor and wall as I was installing wood base.  I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to fish it out.

Does anyone have suggestions without spending the $25 on a whole new headlamp?

I doubt Festool will supply you with a new cover so that leaves ....... duct tape, and a world of regret.  [crying]

If you lived near me I would give you my festool headlamp.  I got it for free any way and I personally think its crap I used it for 2 days and have never used it since.

1.battery doesnt last long enough

2. it isnt bright enough for a head torch

3. when connected to the drill you tend to often turn it on by accident well i did ever time i picked or placed the drill down and you end up draining the battery

4. You cant use the torch with the angle chuck or normal chuck or offset chuck  it can only be used with the centrotec.
