Love my CSC SYS 50, but hate the fence - is there a longer piece of profile?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to replace the aluminium profile that attaches to the fence with something longer. I don't mind it not fitting in the case.

Specifically, I'm not looking for a new fence system, I only want to replace the sliding bit of extruded aluminium profile with something longer, ideally in the 7-800mm range.

Does anyone know where to get something that will fit?

Thanks!

Edit: But also, if there's an entire replacement forthe fence, that's also great!

I'm starring at my MFT fence and wondering if it'd fit..... don't have the space to dig out the saw.

The MFT fence doesn’t fit, I tried that.
Bench Dogs UK has an aftermarket fence kit, along with some other vendors, I forget which ones.
Someone in here posted that one of the Incra rails also fit.

Sorry, I don't mean the crosscut fence, I mean the parallel fence. I have the benchdogs mitre fence and it's brilliant.

My MFT fence will work as a longer parallel fence on the CSC SYS 50. Not sure if the profile has been changed since I've owned it circa 2008.

Two limitations:

The new fence sits about 1/2" up off of the saw table

There's a bit of flex in the rear of the fence. There's only one clamping screw, so anything before the blade is fine. After the blade, the MFT fence (and I'd guess any extrusion that is only fastened by the single clamping screw is the same) has a small amount of flex away from the blade. Or toward the sub fence, if that makes sense.

And if you need a taller fence, the one from the CMS-GE will work as well. I've only tried a single one of those and not the pair, since there's only that one clamping screw from the sub fence.

The fence that comes with the TKS 60 is longer, same as the CS70 AL: 85 cm, about 35 inches. The one that comes with the TKS has a nonconductive manmade material glued on the faces that confront the sawblade. Otherwise these are nearly identical.
