I'd nearly given up on the idea of a circular saw as a useful tool for anything other than demolition work. I decided to make the Tool Cabinet from FWW Tools and Shops. Required working some Baltic Birch in dimensions that would be painful on my cheesy contractor's saw.
I saw the internet videos of the TS55 in action and combined with a Valentines GC from the woman, took the plunge. I'm so glad I did. I've got perfectly clean cuts and the dimensions came out superb. The guide rail is amazing!
I'm totally convinced on the integrated dust collection. I had hardly anything anywhere. A sharp contrast to using my PC router and jig to cut finger joints soon after!
