Had some new toys arrive at the workshop this week and last. Got round to having a play with the LR32 system today, felt like I've used it before the amount of YouTube clips I've seen.  So I've only done shelf pins holes, thoughts so far...very easy to use.  Calibrated no problem and it's so accurate it surprised me, set the hole centre to 40mm and it was prefect. The panel is 1100mm tall so referenced off one edge.

Building a kitchen next month and it will get used extensively. I'd like to get a bigger router bit for the shelf pins where they have a cup insert first, then the pin. Really pleased I purchased it, as with all my Festool swag so far. Not any need for pictures but I'll throw some up any way :)

It is really good isn't it?
I find it helpful to size my pieces by multiples of 32mm
Makes it impossible to screw up.

In my experience, not impossible.  Much harder, but not impossible!    [blink]

I knew someone would say that as I was presiding the post button.
Too true.....

Why did you go with 40mm and not the standard 37mm?
FWIW if you use 37mm all the standard euro hinge plates fit perfectly using euro screws

40mm was just what I used for this job, it's an open shelf unit for under the stairs therefore no door.
