LV planes demo days and sale

I was in LV today.  They will have hand plane demo days Jan 15-17.  They are offering gift cards for every purchase of hand planes and related accessories.  The gift card value depends on the pre-tax amount and can be used for future purchases.  However, it amounts to an 18-20% discount.

Thanks for the tip.  I will certainly try to attend a demo. 

I don't own any Veritas planes but would like to.  And, with that sort of discount on Lee Valley products, I just might buy myself one of their planes.

That LV demo day sounds great; I wish they were closer to my home.  I could benefit from some hands-on lessons in sharpening and using handplanes, drawknives and such.
