Hi fellow Appleholics!

MacHeist's latest Mac Software bundle for $19.99 includes some outstanding software for which the retail value is well over $1600 and all legal full-version programs. [thumbs up]

This deal is especially good for you folks that do Videos, Photography, run your own small business, and more.

Ends tonight (8 April) at midnight. Don't miss out! [scared] UPDATE: EXTENDED...  CHECK TO SEE IF STILL RUNNING!

Programs include: BoinxTV, MacJournal, AccountingEdge Pro, Toon Boom Studio, iSale (ebay), Picturesque, Starry Night Pro, Xojo Desktop, and if another 3000 buy before midnight will include ScreenFlow.

These bundles are occasionally offered and they are phenominally great deals. Fully supported by the Software manufacturers, and a percentage of the proceeds to charity.
I was planning to buy BoinxTV full version soon for $499.00.  Now I have it for less than $20.00 and with all the other super software.  DON'T MISS OUT!!! [tongue]

Go to: MacHeist Bundle Site

Its a pity the accounting application doesn't do EU taxes and currencies =(

Apparently they have bailed out of Europe some years ago and AMC is producing their own spin-off of this that has configurable tax and currency bases. Even thou they mention a free license conversion to almost anywhere in the world it doesn't seem like the software itself is capable of doing direct multicurrency.

I didn't see anything I had to have, but thanks for the heads-up.  I had not heard of that site before.  I wish one of these developers would come out with a decent PowerPC emulator program so I could still run drivers for my 'not so old' hp printers and be able to run stuff like the stamps.com application on my mac with mavericks os.

Agreed. I have a decent AU app that is like Mint, but the developers completely dismissed the suggestion that they should make it compatible with overseas banks. It's funny that software developers have yet to produce something that lets you deal with multiple currencies, with everything and everyone going global.

BUMP - now 2 days left. Looks like they extended the promotion...

You should see (under the hood of) some of the platforms major financial institutions use ... You'd be frightened! [scared]

Thanks for posting that; long ago, I wanted to buy ScreenFlow or other "screen demo capture" software.  Can't beat it for $20 and some of the other things look interesting, too.

picked one up myself also. Frankly I have no need ATM but what a screaming deal, I couldn't pass it up.

Rofl! I work for a bunch of them and I'm frighteningly familiar with the old Cobol/Algol/PL1 stuff they still run today on their mainframes  [doh]

One super dinosaur you should look-up are the population registry systems of different countries... With application lifetime horizons easily 150+ years into the future you have the most arcane systems running these.
But you know - if it ain't broken, don't fix it  [tongue]

Have you tried vmware?

Thank you for the suggestion.  I just looked it up and it looks very promising-- I'm going to try it out.
