Made a huge mistake buying the CSC SYS 50, does a table extension exist?

Mino said, “I would add that one could get reliable 0.1mm accuracy for standard-size rips with the TSO PGs by just ignoring the scales and using a couple of reference sticks to set the stops.”

The marks on the scales are so coarse you can only use the scale as a rough guide to get in the vicinity.
Then make story sticks or use a combination square etc.

Reminds me that one good/bad feature of the Festool parallel guides is that they have to be placed at the ends of the work so any discrepancy in the setting of the scales is minimized compared to leaving TSO (and others) set closer together, increasing the discrepancy.

This thread was highjacked by a bunch of alternatives. The OP asked if there was an extension table to increase the ripping capacity. Seems like there could be a market for such a thing. Not sure how the fence would integrate, but it has to be doable.

Since it does not appear one exists just buy a different portable tablesaw. The Dewalt ones are excellent and have the capacity you need. $400 (DWE7485)and your problem is fixed with 620mm ripping capacity. The other posted solutions require a lot of finagling and you are still spending about $300. Both have their advantages, but the tablesaw is just plug and cut.

I would not call it a "hijack". Not this time.

OP asked for a modification/upgrade of the CSC which goes against the whole ethos of it.

At the same time, OP was not aware the purpose of the modification ask ican be handled better with tools he already has. Ripping full sheets is not a task for a small table saw. Irrespective if it is an Erika or the CSC.

I my view, the CSC is an ideal complement to a tracksaw setup - tasked to handle the items too small to handle efficiently with a tracksaw. Conversely, a tracksaw setup is a complement to the CSC - to handle items too big to handle on the CSC.

Thus talking tracksaw system(s) in context of the CSC or talking CSC in context of tracksaw systems is definitely not out-of-topic.

My 2c.
